I was told by an electrical engineer at Ram that the positive pin is sending 15 amps at up to 14.5 volts. 15 amps would satisfy me. I currently get positive battery charge straight from the 7 pin (without DC to DC charger) when the truck is running. Per BMV-712 it ranges from 3 to 5 amps charge.
