I am getting tired of pulling fuses when I am loading a tune. I would like to install switches for the fuel pump and engine fan circuits, but I cannot see how to get to the underside . - Make sure the junction box(es)/fuse panel(s) are accessible without turning on the interior lights or the underhood lights. - Drive the vehicle for at least 5 minutes over 48 km/h .
The only other suggestion I can offer is to check you have battery voltage at F30 in the battery junction box, don't remove the fuse just probe the pins on the top of the fuse either side of the fuse rating. While researching engine cooling fan control circuitry, I have tried to pull several relays in the Battery Junction Box (the fuse and relay box under the hood). They don't seem to . That means this connects to the battery junction block. Left rear corner of the engine compartment. Here is the wiring diagram that shows the other end of this connects to . Here are the battery junction box in the engine compartment and the central junction box behind the dash panel. Let me know if you need more information. Thanks
The best location is right up under the battery junction box at the left rear corner of the engine compartment. The main wiring harness goes thru there.i have it highlighted in diagram below:the fuse box is there, yes. I'm looking for the high current battery junction box and how to access it
A Smart Junction Box (SJB) is an electronic component found in Ford vehicles that serves as a central hub for controlling and distributing electrical power to various systems and components within the vehicle. Broken fuse in the HVJB (high voltage junction box) mounted in front of the battery. Check that as power to you BMC may have been cut. I am getting tired of pulling fuses when I am loading a tune. While researching engine cooling fan control circuitry, I have tried to pull several relays in the Battery Junction Box (the fuse and relay box under the hood). They don't seem to want to come out. Is there some sort of a latching mechanism that I have to deal with or should I just get a better grip and pull harder??
